Our Lodge
River Hills Ski Club owns and operates its own lodge off of Route 100 in Killington, Vermont, just a short drive from Killington and Pico ski resorts. The lodge features a full kitchen, communal dining hall, woodburning fireplace, ski/snowboard tuning station, outdoor fire pit, game room, multiple living spaces, and accommodations for 40. Members enjoy communal dinners on Saturday nights during the winter months and the club hosts events like a Wine Weekend, Family Weekend, College Weekend, and an annual Race Weekend. All members are welcome and encouraged to use the lodge and it is open all year long, including holidays. Tenured members can be appointed as weekend coordinators, who volunteer to oversee weekend activities and lodge operations during the ski season. Other members help out with cooking, cleaning, serving dinner, and tidying. Several times a year, members dedicate a weekend to work on maintenance or improvement projects at the lodge. As the lodge’s collective owners, River Hillers are expected to have a vested interest in its continued prosperity.
